Shot on 8mm film in 1975, this vintage home movie captures a tense moment at a Lincoln Nebraska farm. A young child in a light jacket stands close to an adult in a long coat, both appearing apprehensive. The grainy black-and-white footage shows a large animal, possibly a bear or large dog, moving across the frame, its shadow cast on the ground. The scene is shot through a window or opening, with dark borders framing the action. The film exhibits natural wear, including scratches and dust, enhancing its authentic archival quality. This raw, unscripted moment evokes a sense of rural life and childhood fear.
