Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1970s Washington DC home-movie footage for productions needing a brief recreation or amusement-game insert with visible adult participation.
Period detail: The frames show 8mm-era black-and-white imagery, period dress, a small roadside course, a picket fence, and a vintage car that support a 1975 leisure setting.
Home-movie behavior: The clip preserves an unstaged visitor view of an adult woman moving through a chip-and-putt swing and walk between holes.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a woman with a club, miniature-golf pavement, low curbs, a painted house backdrop, a picket fence, grass, and a passing car.
Film character: The scan has pronounced 8mm grain, soft focus, uneven exposure, and gate-edge darkness that give the brief scene clear physical-film texture.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a short cutaway, recreation beat, or transition for leisure travel, amusement parks, or casual golf in the 1970s.
Historical context: The scene reflects public recreation and tourist leisure through a home-movie lens without identifying the venue or any named landmark.
Research note: People are visible, so likeness review may be needed; no logos are apparent, and copyright status should be assessed separately from privacy or property concerns.
Research search match: Useful search phrases include 1970s Washington DC home movie, 8mm chip and putt, miniature golf amusement park, and vintage recreation footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other 1975 Washington DC footage, then broader amusement park or recreational golf material.
