Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1970s Washington, DC home-movie footage suited to documentary or museum edits needing everyday recreation, mini-golf, or leisure activity inserts.
Period detail: The light dress, simple outdoor course, bench, fence, and black-and-white 8mm texture may show mid-1970s visitor or family recreation in Washington, DC.
Home-movie behavior: The camera follows an unstaged mini-golf shot and lingers on the player, preserving a casual home-movie view of a small leisure moment.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a woman with a putter, a mini-golf lane, ball, wooden bench, low fence, pavement, grass borders, and a second adult near the course.
Film character: The clip has dense 8mm grain, uneven exposure, soft focus, gate edges, and handheld framing that read as physical home-movie texture.
Edit role: Editors could use it as a brief recreation insert, leisure cutaway, travel-memory beat, or transition within a 1970s Washington, DC sequence.
Historical context: The scene documents informal public recreation rather than a named landmark or event, with adults using a small paved mini-golf course in daylight.
Research note: People are visible, so likeness review may be needed; no logos or private interiors are apparent, and copyright status is separate from personal or property clearance.
Research search match: Useful search matches include 1970s Washington DC mini golf, black and white 8mm home movie recreation, woman playing putt-putt, and vintage leisure footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other 1975 Washington, DC material, then broader 1970s recreation, travel, or amateur sports footage.
