Man In Military Uniform At Jefferson Memorial — Clip Details

A man in a military uniform stands in front of the Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC, captured on 8mm film in 1975. The black-and-white footage shows the officer in a formal pose, with the iconic neoclassical dome and columns visible behind him. Bare trees suggest early spring, and the grainy texture of the 8mm home movie adds a nostalgic, archival quality. The camera moves slightly, offering different angles of the man and the landmark, creating a personal, historical moment from the mid-1970s.
