Woman Wearing Gloves And Lipstick Blows The Viewer A Kiss — Clip Details

A young woman in a 1970s-style coat smiles warmly at the camera in a series of intimate close-ups, her dark hair styled in soft waves and her lips painted with bold lipstick. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures her playful expression as she blows a kiss to the viewer, her hands occasionally visible in gloves. The grainy black-and-white image, with natural lighting and slight film imperfections, evokes a nostalgic home movie feel. Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1970s archival requests needing an intimate home-movie portrait, visitor memory beat, or personal travel insert from Washington, DC-era footage.
Period detail: The woman's coat, styled hair, lipstick, and gloves may show mid-1970s personal fashion, supported by the clip metadata date and Washington, DC location.
Home-movie behavior: The woman smiles directly into the lens and appears to playfully perform for the camera, giving the footage an unstaged personal-home-movie quality.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a young woman in a coat, close-up facial expressions, gloves near her face, outdoor shrubbery, heavy frame edges, and a hazy distant city view.
Film character: Black-and-white 8mm footage shows visible grain, soft focus, uneven exposure, gate edges, and slight handheld variation that read as physical home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a personal memory insert, romantic cutaway, travel diary transition, or intimate contrast before a wider cityscape beat.
Historical context: The clip documents a private visitor or family-camera moment rather than a public event, with the broader city view only loosely placing the scene in an urban setting.
Research note: A recognizable adult face is visible, so likeness and privacy review may be needed separately from copyright or footage licensing assessment.
Research search match: Matches searches for 1970s Washington DC home movie woman smiling at camera, black-and-white 8mm kiss gesture, gloves lipstick travel memory footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Washington, DC 1975 material, then related 1970s home-movie portraits or travel-memory scenes.
