Children Playing Baseball on Field — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1959, this vintage home movie captures children playing on a grassy field in Kansas City, Missouri. The grainy, color-bleached footage shows kids in casual summer clothes running and tossing a ball across a sunlit lawn, with trees and houses visible in the background. The scene shifts to a baseball game near bleachers, where players in vintage uniforms take turns at bat. The film’s characteristic grain, soft focus, and natural lighting evoke a nostalgic, authentic slice of mid-century American life.
