Children Playing Baseball on Field — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1959, this vintage home movie captures a lively baseball game in Kansas City, Missouri. Children in casual summer clothes play on a sun-drenched field with white bleachers and parked cars in the background. The footage shows a batter swinging, players running bases, and spectators watching from the sidelines, all rendered in the grainy, slightly faded color palette characteristic of Super 8 film. The handheld camera follows the action with natural motion, offering a nostalgic glimpse into mid-century American recreation and community life.
