Shot on 8mm film in 1959, this vintage home movie captures a family enjoying a picnic in a wooded park in Kansas City, Missouri. A man in a striped short-sleeve shirt stands and moves near a table where children and adults sit under the shade of trees. The group shares food and drinks, including soda bottles and paper bags, in a relaxed, sun-dappled setting. The footage features natural film grain, warm color tones, and a candid, nostalgic atmosphere typical of mid-century American family life.
