Summertime Two Children Girl Boy Fun Splashing — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1959, this vintage home movie captures two young children playing in a small backyard wading pool. A girl in a light-colored swimsuit stands at the edge while a boy in dark swim trunks splashes and swims in the yellow-tinted water. The scene unfolds on a grassy lawn with a coiled garden hose and a rake visible in the background, evoking a nostalgic summer day. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 grain, warm color saturation, and a slightly shaky, intimate home-movie perspective, offering authentic archival footage for documentaries, nostalgic content, or period-specific projects.
