Spotted Pig Foraging in Grass — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1959, this vintage home movie captures a spotted pig foraging in overgrown green grass outside a brick building in Kansas City, Missouri. The animal moves slowly through the foliage, surrounded by rocks and bushes, with a concrete wall and trees in the background. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 grain, color shifts, and a slightly shaky handheld perspective, evoking a nostalgic, candid slice of mid-century rural life. A person is faintly visible in the distance, adding to the authentic, unscripted atmosphere of this archival home movie.
