Beauty Contestants Waving While Riding On A Float — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1967, this vintage footage captures beauty pageant contestants waving from a parade float in Los Angeles, California. A young woman in a blue gown and tiara waves to the crowd, followed by another contestant in a striking red dress. Both wear white gloves and stand on a decorated float with purple and white trim, set against a backdrop of palm trees and a building with arched architecture. The warm, slightly faded color palette and film grain evoke classic mid-century Americana, capturing a moment of celebration and nostalgia from a bygone era.
