Shot on 8mm film in 1947, this vintage home movie captures a somber springtime scene in Paris, France. The footage shows a flooded riverside promenade with bare trees lining the bank. A person walks a dog along the edge of the water, while another figure stands nearby. The grainy black-and-white image, framed by the camera's viewfinder, evokes a quiet, melancholic mood. The scene reflects post-war urban life, with the floodwaters suggesting seasonal change and resilience. This archival footage offers a rare glimpse into everyday moments in mid-century Paris.
