A hiker in a red jacket and shorts walks through a dense forest in British Columbia, Canada, in 1979. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures the person trekking along a narrow trail surrounded by tall evergreen trees and dappled sunlight. The scene transitions to a wide mountain vista with a group of hikers resting in a valley under a dramatic cloudy sky. The grainy, nostalgic quality of the Super 8 footage evokes a sense of adventure and exploration in the Canadian wilderness.
