People Swimming in Glacial Lake — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1979, this vintage home movie captures a group of people enjoying a swim in a cold lake beside a glacier in British Columbia, Canada. The grainy, high-contrast footage shows figures wading and playing in the water while others stand on the snowy glacier edge. The scene unfolds under overcast skies, with dark rocky terrain framing the icy landscape. The raw, unfiltered quality of the Super 8 footage evokes a sense of adventure and nostalgia from a bygone era of outdoor exploration.
