Backpackers Crossing Mountain Riverbed — Clip Details

A group of hikers with large backpacks navigates a shallow riverbed in British Columbia, Canada, in 1979. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures the group moving through the rocky stream, surrounded by dense evergreen forests and distant mountains. Hikers wear colorful clothing, including a yellow hat, red backpack, and blue backpack, as they trek through the natural landscape. The scene evokes a sense of adventure and exploration in the wilderness, with authentic vintage film grain and color saturation characteristic of home movies from the era.
