A young boy in a blue zip-up jacket focuses intently on tying a thick rope at a forest campsite near Sapphire Lake, Montana, in 1977. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures his hands working with the cord against a backdrop of pine trees and dappled sunlight. A green knapsack rests nearby on the ground, and the natural setting suggests a scouting or camping activity. The warm, slightly faded colors and film grain evoke a nostalgic, authentic 1970s home movie feel.
