Shot on 8mm film in 1975, this vintage home movie captures a group of people gathered around a campfire in the Minaret Wilderness, California. The scene unfolds in a wooded clearing, with individuals in casual 1970s attire—sweaters and jackets—sitting on logs and rocks. A thick plume of smoke rises from the fire, casting a purple-tinged glow across the frame. The handheld camera captures the natural, unposed interactions of the group as they converse and relax in the warm light. The footage features authentic film grain, slight color shifts, and the intimate atmosphere of a classic American camping trip.
