Shot on 8mm film in 1975, this vintage home movie captures a group of hikers enjoying a scenic view in the Minaret Wilderness of California. The footage opens on a wide, sun-drenched forest clearing with tall pine trees and a purple-tinted sky, then transitions to a group of people standing on a rocky trail, some wearing hats and carrying backpacks. The natural, handheld camera movement and film grain evoke a nostalgic, authentic feel of a classic outdoor adventure.
