A View Of A Building With Columns And A Flagpole Nearby — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1970, this vintage home movie captures a view of a classical-style building with columns and a flagpole atop a grassy hillside in Washington DC. The footage, framed by dark tree silhouettes, shows a wide shot of the landmark surrounded by lush greenery and mature trees under an overcast sky. A few people are visible sitting on the grass in the foreground, adding a sense of scale and everyday life.
