Abstract Metal Sculpture Fountain With Moving Gear Elements — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1969, this vintage home movie captures a striking abstract metal sculpture in Sacramento, California. The towering, mechanical-looking statue features a spiraled top, gear-like elements, and outstretched arms, standing prominently in a fountain. Water sprays from its base, creating a dynamic, moving effect against the backdrop of a modern building with large windows and surrounding greenery. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 film grain, color shifts, and a nostalgic, mid-century aesthetic, offering authentic archival footage for documentaries, editorial content, or retro-themed projects.
