Boy and Woman Playing Croquet on Lawn — Clip Details

A sun-drenched 8mm home movie from 1961 captures a lively backyard gathering in California. A young boy in a red shirt and a woman in a pink top play croquet on a lush green lawn, while a group of adults and children watch and socialize under the shade of trees. The footage, shot on vintage 8mm film, shows classic mid-century clothing and a relaxed, joyful atmosphere, with a croquet mallet lying on the grass. The warm, slightly faded colors and film grain evoke a strong sense of nostalgia and family life in the early 1960s.
