Dark-Haired Woman Walking Through Pumpkin Patch Carrying... — Clip Details

A woman with dark hair walks through a pumpkin patch in California in 1984, carrying a pumpkin in her hand. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures her in a beige jacket and blue pants as she moves across the field under an overcast sky. The scene is filled with ripe pumpkins scattered among green vines, with a distant road and trees visible in the background. The grainy, slightly faded color and natural movement evoke a nostalgic, authentic home movie feel from the mid-1980s.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1980s California home-movie requests needing autumn harvest, Halloween-season pumpkin patch, or rural family outing atmosphere.
Period detail: The clothing, color stock, and metadata-supported 1984 date place the scene in a mid-1980s rural pumpkin field, with no visible brands or landmarks.
Home-movie behavior: The woman appears casually filmed while walking through the field with a pumpkin, giving the clip an unstaged personal-outing quality.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a dark-haired woman, beige jacket, blue pants, pumpkins, green vines, open farmland, an overcast sky, and a distant road.
Film character: The 8mm scan shows soft focus, mild fading, handheld framing, gate edges, and visible grain that read as authentic home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief insert, seasonal cutaway, transition, or memory beat for harvest, Halloween, or rural California material.
Historical context: The footage shows a casual pumpkin-picking scene in a cultivated field, reflecting a personal leisure moment rather than a documented public event.
Research note: A visible adult may require likeness review, while copyright, location, and any property permissions should be assessed separately from the image content.
Research search match: Likely matches searches for 1984 California pumpkin patch 8mm, woman carrying pumpkin, Halloween harvest home movie, and rural fall footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent reel material, then other 1984 California scenes, then broader pumpkin patch, harvest, Halloween, and autumn home-movie clips.
