Gorgeous Siamese Cat With Striking Blue Eyes Looking At... — Clip Details

A vintage 8mm home movie clip from 1981 captures a gorgeous Siamese cat with striking blue eyes, its dark points and cream-colored fur clearly visible. The cat, wearing a collar, looks directly at the camera with a calm, slightly indifferent expression in close-up shots. Later frames show the cat resting on a patterned tablecloth beside a red cylindrical object, with a floral arrangement and teacup in the background. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 film grain and warm, slightly faded colors, evoking a nostalgic 1980s home movie aesthetic.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1981 home-movie requests needing a quiet domestic pet insert, especially archival sequences about cats, household life, or personal memory in California.
Period detail: Visible period clues include soft 8mm color, flash-lit indoor framing, a patterned tablecloth, houseplants, and small tabletop decor that may show an early-1980s home setting.
Home-movie behavior: The cat appears calmly observed at close range, giving the clip an unstaged household feel rather than a posed studio animal portrait.
What appears in frame: The frames show a Siamese cat, blue reflective eyes, a collar, patterned tablecloth, red cylindrical object, white cup or planter, flowers, and dark interior background.
Film character: The footage has visible 8mm grain, slight softness, warm faded color, and flash-like exposure that give it clear physical home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief cutaway, pet-memory insert, domestic transition, or quiet visual pause within a family archive sequence.
Historical context: The clip documents a household pet in a private interior, offering modest visual context for everyday companion-animal life in a California home-movie collection.
Research note: No people or logos are visible, but the private interior and pet footage may still require property, copyright, and collection-source review before use.
Research search match: Likely matches searches for 1981 8mm Siamese cat footage, vintage home movie pet close-up, blue-eyed cat indoors, and California domestic animal archive.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with neighboring shots from the same reel, then other 1981 California home interiors, then broader vintage pet and household-animal footage.
