Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Kenya in 1983 captures a serene winter scene at dusk. A herd of white-tailed deer stands in a frozen lake, their silhouettes reflected in the icy surface. The surrounding woods are bare, with snow-covered ground and a dark, grainy sky. The film exhibits classic Super 8 characteristics: heavy grain, purple color cast, and soft focus, evoking a nostalgic, archival feel. The camera remains mostly static, observing the quiet moment as the deer move slowly through the frozen landscape.
