Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Kenya in 1983 shows a close-up of a commemorative plaque for "PAXTU," the cottage built for Lord Baden-Powell of Gilwell, founder of the Boy Scout Movement. The brown plaque with white lettering and a fleur-de-lis emblem is mounted on a light-colored wall, capturing the historic significance of the site where Baden-Powell lived from October 1938 until his death in 1941. The film exhibits natural grain and slight color fading typical of 8mm archival footage, offering a nostalgic glimpse into scouting history.
