Vintage 8mm footage from Denmark in 1983 captures a ceremonial guard changing at a royal palace. Soldiers in traditional dark uniforms with tall black bearskin hats and white cross belts march in precise formation across a cobblestone courtyard. The historic palace features classic European architecture with steep roofs and ornate windows, while scaffolding on one wing suggests ongoing restoration. A crowd of onlookers watches from a distance under a partly cloudy sky. The film exhibits natural grain, slight color fading, and authentic home movie quality, offering a nostalgic glimpse into royal tradition and public ceremony.
