Competitive Ski Jumping From A Mountain — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm film from 1962 captures a competitive ski jumping event in New York. A skier in a numbered bib launches from a wooden ramp against a bright blue sky, soaring over a snowy slope as spectators watch from the sidelines. The footage shows classic winter sports attire and bare trees lining the hill, with a distinct retro color palette and film grain characteristic of home movie footage from the era.
