Two Military Guards Standing At Attention In Park — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Washington DC, 1960, showing two uniformed military guards in formal dress uniforms standing at attention in a park-like setting. The guards wear dark blue uniforms with white gloves and peaked caps, positioned near a stone balustrade with bare trees in the background. The film exhibits classic Super 8 characteristics: soft focus, color fading, and visible grain. The scene captures a moment of ceremonial duty, with the guards maintaining rigid posture under overcast skies. This authentic archival footage offers a nostalgic glimpse into mid-20th century American military protocol and public spaces.
