Woman With Classic Car Near Rocky Cliffs — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Wyoming USA in 1939, showing a rugged mountain landscape with rocky cliffs and evergreen trees. A woman in a 1930s-style suit stands beside a classic 1930s sedan, likely a Buick or similar model, parked near the cliffside. The film exhibits natural grain, slight color fading, and the characteristic dark borders of 8mm home movie stock. The scene captures a moment of travel and exploration in the American West during the pre-war era, with the woman appearing to pause for a photograph or enjoy the scenery. The footage has a nostalgic, authentic quality typical of personal travel films from the period.

Archive brief fit: Useful for productions seeking 1930s Wyoming travel footage, roadside portrait material, or prewar American West home-movie inserts.
Period detail: The woman's tailored suit, the rounded 1930s sedan profile, and the 8mm color home-movie look support a late-1930s travel context.
Home-movie behavior: The scene has the informal feel of a traveler pausing beside a car while another person films the rocky roadside setting.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a rocky cliff face, evergreen trees, tall grass, a dark 1930s sedan, a woman in a suit, and 8mm frame borders.
Film character: The clip shows soft focus, visible grain, slight color fading, uneven exposure, and dark 8mm borders consistent with scanned amateur film.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a short cutaway, travel-memory beat, or transitional insert for road trips through the American West.
Historical context: The footage visually suggests personal automobile travel in Wyoming during the prewar era without documenting a specific named landmark or event.
Research note: A visible adult face may require likeness review, while vehicle make, exact location, and copyright status should be checked separately.
Research search match: 1939 Wyoming home movie, 8mm American West travel footage, woman with 1930s car, rocky cliffs roadside scene.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent reel footage, then other Wyoming 1939 travel scenes, then broader 1930s road-trip and mountain landscape material.
