Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Washington USA in 1938 shows a black and white football or rugby game played on a dusty field. Players in period athletic uniforms engage in tackles and active play under an overcast sky. The grainy, high-contrast image features visible film scratches and a dark vignette border, with utility poles and a low wall in the background. Spectators and old cars are visible along the sidelines, capturing a nostalgic moment of mid-20th century American sports recreation.
