A Beautiful Landscape With A Large Pool And A Beautiful... — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Greece in 1976, captured through a window frame. The clip opens on a wide, hazy landscape of rolling hills, flat green fields, and distant buildings under a pale blue sky. As the camera pans slightly, a modern swimming pool with clear blue water comes into view in the foreground, surrounded by manicured lawn and palm trees. The film exhibits classic Super 8 grain, faded colors, and natural light, evoking a nostalgic, sun-drenched Mediterranean atmosphere. This authentic archival footage is ideal for documentaries, editorial content, or nostalgic projects exploring 1970s leisure and travel.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1970s travel, leisure, or Mediterranean landscape sequences needing authentic 8mm home-movie views of a poolside property and distant developed horizon in Greece.
Period detail: The clip may show 1970s resort or residential leisure architecture, with a modern rectangular pool, trimmed lawns, palms, distant low buildings, and hazy hills visible through a window frame.
Home-movie behavior: The footage carries a visitor-shot perspective, observing the landscape from behind a window or balcony opening before drifting toward the pool and grounds below.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include dark window edges, rolling hills, green fields, a distant built-up area, roads or paths, palms, manicured lawn, and a bright blue swimming pool.
Film character: The 8mm image has soft focus, visible grain, slight haze, faded color, and handheld framing that give the scene a physical home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a short establishing insert, travel-memory transition, leisure cutaway, or visual pause between family holiday scenes.
Historical context: The view suggests mid-1970s leisure travel in Greece, contrasting managed poolside grounds with open fields, hills, and distant urban development.
Research note: No people, logos, or audible music are apparent, but the pool and grounds may involve private property, so copyright, location, and property-use review should remain separate.
Research search match: Researchers might search for 1970s Greece 8mm landscape, vintage Greek pool view, home movie through window, Mediterranean holiday footage, or resort grounds and horizon.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Greece 1976 travel footage, then broader 1970s leisure, resort, pool, and Mediterranean landscape material.
