Tall Building Overshadowing A Tennis Court, Pool And An... — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Cleveland, Ohio, 1974, showing a high-angle view of a lakeside property. The clip opens on a grassy yard with trees bordering a large body of water, then pans down to reveal a tennis court and an octagonal swimming pool. An American flag flies on a pole near the water's edge, with waves visible on the lake. Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1970s Cleveland archive requests needing high-angle home-movie views of lakeside recreation, residential grounds, and patriotic exterior detail.
Period detail: The clip may show mid-1970s leisure amenities through the tennis court, angular pool design, lawn, mature trees, and handheld 8mm color stock.
Home-movie behavior: The view feels visitor-shot from a tall building, observing the grounds and lake below without staged action or visible participants.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a lake, trees, lawn, tennis court, octagonal swimming pool, flagpole with American flag, paved deck, and building shadow.
Film character: Soft focus, visible grain, slight color fade, and handheld drift give the footage a scanned 8mm home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief establishing insert, transitional cutaway, or memory beat for urban lakeside recreation in the 1970s.
Historical context: The footage visually places leisure facilities beside a large body of water in Cleveland, suggesting everyday recreational space rather than a documented public event.
Research note: No people, faces, logos, or audible music are visible or indicated, but exterior property features and copyright status should still be reviewed before use.
Research search match: Researcher matches include 1974 Cleveland 8mm lakefront view, tennis court and pool home movie, American flag by lake, and 1970s urban recreation cutaway.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with other shots from the same reel, then Cleveland 1974 exteriors, then broader 1970s lakeside recreation, tennis, pool, and American flag material.
