Two Women Walking Together On A Pier Beside The Water — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm home movie footage from France in 1967 shows two women strolling along a pier beside a large white riverboat. One woman wears a striking red coat and carries a white handbag, while her companion is dressed in a dark suit. Their 1960s fashion and poised demeanor reflect the era's refined leisure. Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1960s France requests needing brief home-movie coverage of women in period dress walking along a waterside pier.
Period detail: The red coat, structured handbag, dark tailored outfit, bouffant-style hair, and riverboat setting support a late-1960s leisure or travel context.
Home-movie behavior: The value is in the unstaged walk and conversation-like movement of two women passing the camera beside the water.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include two women, a bright red coat, a white handbag, a dark suit, pier paving, water, and a large white riverboat.
Film character: The clip has 8mm home-movie texture with soft focus, visible grain, color shift, uneven exposure, and handheld framing.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a short cutaway, travel insert, fashion detail, or memory beat within a 1960s France sequence.
Historical context: The scene shows adult women in refined streetwear during waterside leisure, without enough visual evidence to identify the exact city, boat, or occasion.
Research note: Faces and possible vessel markings are visible, so likeness and brand or vessel-name review may be needed in addition to copyright clearance.
Research search match: Matches searches for 1967 France home movie, women walking on pier, 1960s fashion, riverboat background, and vintage 8mm travel footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other France 1967 waterfront clips, then broader 1960s travel and fashion walking scenes.
