Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1970s Spain home-movie footage of resort-style garden leisure helps documentary and museum editors illustrate personal travel, vacation, and everyday relaxation scenes from the era.
Period detail: The patterned swimsuit, dark sunglasses, floral lounge chair cushions, bouffant hairstyle, and 8mm color palette support a 1970s leisure setting without identifying a specific venue.
Home-movie behavior: A woman sits casually on a sun lounger and looks toward the camera, giving the clip the unstaged intimacy of a family or travel home movie.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a seated woman in sunglasses, a patterned sleeveless swimsuit, floral lounge cushions, clipped lawn, dense garden plants, a low white wall, and a thatched umbrella pole.
Film character: The clip carries authentic 8mm texture with visible grain, soft focus, mild color fade, uneven exposure, and slight frame instability from a handheld or consumer camera scan.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a short insert, vacation-memory beat, or leisure cutaway within a sequence about 1970s travel, domestic tourism, or private holiday life.
Historical context: The scene reflects a private leisure moment in a landscaped outdoor setting, with clothing, furniture, and filmed behavior consistent with early 1970s holiday home movies.
Research note: A recognizable adult face is visible, so projects should review likeness and privacy considerations separately from footage copyright, with no logos or audible music indicated in the supplied metadata.
Research search match: Relevant searches include 1970s Spain home movie woman on sun lounger, 8mm vacation garden swimsuit sunglasses, and vintage resort leisure footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Spain 1972 travel footage, and then broader 1970s holiday, garden, poolside, or resort-leisure material.
