Sunny Surfside Town Woman Sunbathing In Retro Sunglasses — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Spain in 1972, capturing a sunny summer day. A woman in retro white sunglasses, a purple top, and white shorts relaxes on a floral-patterned lounge chair in a lush green garden. A white purse rests beside her. The scene transitions to a view of a resort pool area with palm trees, modern buildings, and the ocean in the distance, all framed by foliage. The film exhibits classic Super 8 grain, color shifts, and a nostalgic, authentic home movie aesthetic.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for requests needing 1970s Spanish coastal holiday atmosphere, resort leisure, or home-movie inserts showing sunbathing and a poolside town setting.
Period detail: The clip shows period clues including white oversized sunglasses, a floral lounge cushion, casual summer clothing, palm landscaping, and modern resort buildings that fit the supplied 1972 Spain metadata.
Home-movie behavior: The value is in the informal vacation gaze, moving from a scenic pool-and-sea view to an unstaged woman relaxing on a garden lounge chair.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a resort pool, palm trees, apartment-like buildings, distant ocean, a woman on a floral lounge chair, white sunglasses, white shorts, green lawn, and a white purse.
Film character: The 8mm footage has soft focus, visible grain, slight color shift, uneven exposure, and contact-print framing that preserve the texture of a physical home-movie scan.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a short memory beat, vacation cutaway, resort establishing insert, or transition between broader coastal travel material and intimate leisure footage.
Historical context: The footage reflects a private tourist or family view of warm-weather resort leisure in Spain, with emphasis on gardens, poolside landscaping, and casual sunbathing rather than public events.
Research note: A visible adult face and likeness should be reviewed for release needs, while no logos, minors, music, or clearly identifiable private interiors are visible in these frames.
Research search match: Researchers might search for 1972 Spain 8mm vacation footage, Spanish resort pool home movie, 1970s woman sunbathing sunglasses, or coastal holiday garden lounge chair footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Spain 1972 coastal or resort material, then broader 1970s European summer leisure and poolside home movies.
