A Water Fountain In A Pool Is Surrounded By Flowering Plants — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Spain in 1972 captures a serene garden scene. A central water fountain sprays a gentle arc of water into a circular pool, surrounded by meticulously manicured rose bushes in full bloom with vibrant pink, orange, and yellow blossoms. Lush green hedges form a backdrop, with a large leafy tree on the left. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 film characteristics—slight grain, soft focus, and rich, saturated colors typical of 1970s home movies. The camera remains mostly static, offering a peaceful view of the cultivated landscape under bright daylight.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1970s Spain archival requests needing a quiet garden, fountain, or landscaped-estate cutaway for documentary, museum, education, or period atmosphere sequences.
Period detail: The clip shows a manicured ornamental garden with a circular pool, rose bushes, clipped hedges, and saturated 8mm color consistent with the supplied 1972 home-movie metadata.
Home-movie behavior: The mostly static visitor-shot viewpoint records the garden as a remembered travel or leisure scene rather than a staged landscape study.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a circular fountain pool, arcing water spray, flowering rose bushes, clipped hedges, lawn borders, a leafy tree, and bright daytime sky.
Film character: The footage has soft focus, visible grain, mild exposure variation, and rich color typical of small-gauge 1970s home-movie film.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a calm insert, travel transition, garden cutaway, or reflective memory beat between more active scenes.
Historical context: The view documents cultivated leisure space and ornamental planting in Spain without showing identifiable people, signage, or a specific landmark in the available frames.
Research note: No people, logos, or readable brands are visible, but users should still assess copyright status and any property-release needs separately from visual identification.
Research search match: Searches such as 1970s Spain garden fountain 8mm, Spanish rose garden home movie, circular fountain pool flowers, or Super 8 landscaped garden may match this clip.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Spain 1972 travel footage, and then thematically with gardens, fountains, roses, parks, and daylight leisure scenes.
