Vintage 8mm footage from a 1983 high school graduation in Lansing, Michigan, showing graduates in yellow caps and gowns tossing their mortarboards into the air. The ceremony takes place on a stage with a draped curtain backdrop, an American flag, and a podium where officials in formal attire preside. The grainy, warm-toned film captures the celebratory mood of the 1980s, with a handheld camera capturing the joyful chaos of caps flying and students celebrating. This authentic home movie footage offers a nostalgic look at American education history.
