Vintage 8mm home movie footage from 1955 in San Diego, California, showing a chubby baby in a patterned dress being held by an older woman on a porch. The baby, with rosy cheeks, looks around curiously while the woman gently supports them. In the background, a tall oil derrick stands against a purple-tinged sky over a rural landscape. The film exhibits classic Super 8 grain, color shifts, and soft focus, capturing a candid moment of familial affection and mid-century Americana.
