Parent Holding Baby Learning To Stand — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm home movie footage from 1955 in San Diego, California, showing a parent gently holding a baby in a patterned knit dress as the child attempts to stand. The baby, with light hair, looks down with concentration while the adult supports their arms. Through a window, a rural landscape with a tall transmission tower is visible under a soft purple-tinged sky. The film exhibits classic Super 8 grain, color shifts, and slight motion blur, capturing a tender, intimate moment of early childhood development.
